Yeah, that fight sucked. No one really did much. I did give the decision to Machida but neither guy did much. It was basically a draw. The biggest issue out of the whole fight was the judge who could give 30-27 to either guy lol

I wonder if thats maybe his style? Gegard should have known from fighting him b4 and seeing any fight machidas been in . thats how he fights, you got to pressure and over power him.
He was way on his bike though, machida backing off Gegard push kicking the knee and feinting just horrible.

Shit match. Bellator fights like this are supposed to be old timers that are roided to the gills getting their second chance at glory. And the fight should be 5 rounds. You put a "big name" fight as your main event, after a championship fight, and you make it 3 rounds? If you're going to make 2 past their prime legends the main event, at least make it a 5 rounder. If for no other reason, it looks weird having a 5 round co-main and a 3-round main. You already put a non title fight above a title fight, and now you're gonna make it shorter because the fighters are old? It looks bad and desperate and makes no sense. Moose/Machida should have been 5 rounds.

fan of both but this wasn't a very good fight. Was sort of shitty for me because I watched it after watching the Spence/Porter fight so this was a pretty big let down.

With that said, both are still quality fighters, sometimes, styles make fights and that fight ends up being a pile of shit like tonight.

Machida's UD in the UFC > Moose's SD in Bellator so Lyoto is still the superior fighter.

Besides, this one should have been ruled a draw because nobody really won or lost here, first fight was way better and showcased their abilities properly.
