Montana High School Wrestler Shows Awesome Sportsmanship

Not gonna lie, I teared up.

thank you so much for sharing this story. great read and view.

Here is something ironic. This video is from my local news station. I live in Montana, and I kind of know the wrestler who did this.

Wowo super cool of that kid to do something like that. Not only was that nice of him, it was also super ballsy.

So much for wrestlers only caring about winning...

I love these stories, because I believe in the power of sport to inspire, transform, and bring out the best in people.

Not exactly the same, but cut from the same cloth is the story of J Mac. I'm sure most of you have seen it, but it's worth a re-post.

I cried. We had a special needs kid on our team when I was in middle school. Our coach set him up with another kid off our team who wasn't really bright.
The stage was set.

Then the kid off our team speared the special needs kid.

Everyone was like wtf. Then shockingly the special needs kid was a point away from actually fairly winning the match. After the match the kid kissed the other kid on the lips and the not to bright kid had to get counseling......come to think of it....this was a pretty messed up occasion.

That's pretty cool. Kinda like a Rudy moment. The kid was pretty good too.

Cool thing that kid did. Much respect.
