Now this is an excellent example of sportsmanship, I'd love to see more kids like this. He put aside any pride or ego and did a wonderful thing. Good on him.

I cried. We had a special needs kid on our team when I was in middle school. Our coach set him up with another kid off our team who wasn't really bright.
The stage was set.

Then the kid off our team speared the special needs kid.

Everyone was like wtf. Then shockingly the special needs kid was a point away from actually fairly winning the match. After the match the kid kissed the other kid on the lips and the not to bright kid had to get counseling......come to think of it....this was a pretty messed up occasion.
