News Monster Inoue vs Ramón Cardenas May 4th Las Vegas

Yeah that sucks. I do like that his fight date is earlier now though.

I was looking forward to the Picasso fight the most out of his last few potential challenges left in MJ, Goodman, Casimero and Picasso at Super Bantam. I'm hearing no word of Picasso being injured yet which makes me think he's avoiding this to keep his 0 intact kinda.

It might just be time to leave the division, you're the unified champ and guys are ducking you. Take the Nakatani fight after this if it's on the table or consider moving up to challenge Ball and then Espinosa.

One of those weeks where it doesnt matter.
Got Haney, Garcia, Teofimo, Rolly, Barboza, all fighting on Friday.
Canelo fighting on Saturday.
Inoue fighting on Sunday.

Good week regardless.

Dudes don't want the smoke with Inoue
I don't blame them

It's their chance at a 7 figure payday and at defeating the top p4p fighter in the sport...who has all the belts in their division who is undefeated. God damn if Goodman and Picasso don't want the smoke, who does? Didn't Casimero also duck? So it's really just MJ at this point. It's depressing. Dude needs to either make the Nakatani fight happen or go up and fight Ball/Espinosa.

Inoue/MJ is a good fight though. MJ's interim champ, is ballsy with a good chin and hits pretty hard. I think Inoue beets him obviously but it's a good fight, MJ is dangerous with his power. Would be fun

MJ is the only fight I'd be interested at 122. The only one that would be a challenge even if Inoue will likely beat him. Everyone else is just cannon fodder at this point. I'm probably one of the few who doesn't want to see a Nakatani fight. I'd rather see Inoue beat MJ, then he can say he beat literally everyone who'd pose a challenge at 122, and then move up.

Happy to see PROBOX jump into the opportunity with Cardenas … but this is not a PPV main event …

Cardenas vs Inoue isn't as bad as the last one but nobody is interested in this and it does nothing for Inoues legacy. Dude needs to plan leaving Super Bantamweight.. like immediately he's pissing away damn near a year of his prime at this rate. Get to Ball and Espinosa while they're still undefeated and take the Junto fight when it's right...then retire.
