Anyone else already tired of this Money Fight Era we have entered into? I remember the days when the elite fighters didnt feel entitled to pick their opponents and simply wanted to prove they were the best fighters in the world.

I don't get it, do you benefit directly if the fans buy the money fights or are you just saying you'll follow whatever the masses do?

TS your question is strange. They are money fights because they are the fights that the most people want to see. That is after all were the money comes from.

The masses follow what I do. I benefit from watching n8 vs Conor and I'll love watching Hendo ko the count.

Where did the money come from before we entered the money fight era?

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Some money fight make sense, most don't. I also like the fights and match ups that aren't only money fights. Some of the most memorable moments in MMA came in fights that were NOT top draw against top draw.

    Yes.
What's with champions hand picking opponents?

    Bisping, fight a contender
Conor, fight in your weight class or drop the belt
    Woodley, fight Wonderboy

id rather see Conor fight Aldo again than see him fight Nate

I just want to see cool fights. Good match ups and fun fights are really all that interests me.

Fans that are obsessed by divisional rankings and belts are definitely watching for a different reason than I am.

Belts are fun and neccessary but demanding that #6 MUST fight #5 and NO ONE except numbers 2 and 3 should be fighting the champ is tedious and unnecessary to me.

Bring on the $ fights. Bring on the superfights!

This is all supposed to be fun, right? I don't like it when it turns into a JOKE but I love it when it's FUN.

Usually, money fights are fun fights.

I was SO opposed to Conor/Nate 2 initially. It stuck in my craw. Now I'm excited about it.

Unclench and enjoy. It's all a game.

Actually, money fights = more casuals spending money = more money overall in MMA = higher-level athletes entering MMA because it becomes more financially worthwhile to fight. Talent exists everywhere, but it's hard to deny that talent tends to follow the money.
