Moments in Documentaries that stuck with you?

People die everyday in Afghanistan, Congo, and so many other countries by the thousands in more political and brutal ways than 9/11. Whats with Americans obsession and mental masturbation over 9/11? Why arent you people sad about all of it equally? Why?

It's the visual optics of it that made it so emotional and powerful. Two of the most iconic buildings hit by huge planes and cascaded down to dust is just visually unforgettable. There never been anything like it since.

This one's a bummer, but.......

There's a doco called Deliver Us From Evil, about a priest who abused a bunch of kids over decades, and the church just kept moving him around every time there was an accusation.

In one scene the now elderly parents of one of the kids are recounting finding out that their daughter had been abused, and father is breaking down crying.

It's fucking horrible. I still get upset thinking about it.

My bro talked to him at a Retro Con. My bro said he’s a really nice guy in real life. He said he hammed it up for the documentary and does outrageous things to promote his business.

Dude's a master mind for sure then. Good for him.
