Modifying my workout routine

I'm thinking of modifying my workout routine to cut time as much as possible for balance and extra rest. Starting strength is overkill and I've already feel burnt out from it (did it for 5 months) so I went back to following push/pull routine. Now, I'm thinking to change it to this with low reps.

Friday: Bench and Incline Press/Weighted Dips/Skull crushers
    Sunday: Weighted Pullups/Bent Over Rows/Deadlifts
    Tuesday: Overhead Press/Weighted Chinups/Barbell Curls
The first and third ends with grip strength exercises. All can be done within 30-40 minutes at max.

Thoughts? I know i'm missing a lot of gaps and that focus heavily on upper but it gives my already injury prone shoulders extra rest and my legs are not my priority. There are a lot of heavy bag and bodyweight involvement in my class that covers them.

    Yeah, that looks fine.

You say you have injury prone shoulders, so I’d probably add in some more good exercises for those. Face pulls, rear felt flys, etc.

Skull crushers have a tendency to bother elbows, so I wouldn’t hesitate dropping them if that starts to happen. You’re already doing weighted dips right before them. Even better, you could put either skull crushers or the weighted dips in after your overhead press to spread it out a bit.

Have you heard of the JM press? I’d look into that and consider dropping the skull crushers altogether.

I would do deadlifts first on Sunday. Aside from requiring the most energy, you’ll also be warmed up for the other back work.

What is @pokerandbeer squatting nowadays anyhow? I'm curious if it is to depth or if it is to "his standards" like on deadlift lockouts.

I mean what difference does it make if you can squat more than me? After all aren’t we all here just to lift for health?

please do not do squats it’s bad for you

I haven't had any issues with the crushers yet. I'll drop them on Friday and incorporate them to Sunday's after overhead press to see how it works, it's a good idea to support the tris. As for shoulders, I'm doing rotator cuff exercise with bands at the moment to sort out these problems.

I'll do these workout for 12 weeks to see how it goes.
So, it's deadlifts, rows and pullups in order? I'm usually wasted after doing them (reason for putting last) but will give it a try.

I'm not surprised that you think your post had any relevance at all to the thread.

Do you want feedback on that? I see some things I think you could clean up.
