MMA Writing Positions?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to apply for newswriting positions at major MMA websites like Sherdog (MMAWeekly, MMAJunkie, BloodyElbow, etc.). I've done MMA writing for other sites in the past, but I wasn't sure how to apply for major ones. Thanks in advance.

From what I've read, all you need is a passing interest in the sport and grade 6 writing skills.

You need to be knowledgeable enough about the sport to successfully predict winners less than half of the time.

I would go to the desired sites and ask somebody if they could direct you to the appropriate person to discuss such matters.
