Last night Vera had Silva in a guillotine choke where Silva eventually feel forward and tapped. I was wondering what would happen if he fell backwards instead? Broken neck? Vera dropped on his head? foul? Sorry new to this if its a stupid question.

You mean similar to like a suplex? There is no rule against it, other than the laws of physics. When a 230lb man is hanging on you like that, I don't know of a way you can bend over backwards like that.

If I recall Vera had gaurd and that would mean that Silva would have to have spectacular strength and almost backflip for that to work. Hmm..........hmmmm...I am gonna say we will see it.

Good point for mma. Love you new guys. Serious. Love that.

Legal tho.

Again very nice. Young guys with no experience spout shit all the time but that was interesting and very occaisional so....cooool. IMO.

Whats your experience?

Sorry man. I love that. In there I would fight it or drop him close to my head 1st but, him going where he can see it (forehead first with xtra weight) would seem to be much better. Not sure but love the idea.

Not much experience, I have taken Shotokan and Wado Ryu to green belt. I hope to sign up for a MMA and BJJ classes in the fall.
While I am at it, another oberservation. Late into fights you see alot of weak haymakers where the defender will more often than not simply duck and lunge toward the attacker. This looks like a great opportunity for the attacker to lift their knee straight up to meet the defender in the head while they duck and lunge. Wiman and Allessio both had opportunities. I promise no more observations for a while.
