1. Some of the UFC fighters fight their contract out. If UFC does not really want that fighter, they let them go to Bellator without any fuss about it.
2. No more attempts to create reality shows, or to make big event along UFC's big event from Bellator.
3. Fighters that are on a high level but UFC don't want to employ - they're getting fired and then immediately land in WSOF. No big deal.
4. One FC has presense in all the countries UFC doesn't. UFC gives up on China and Indochina.
5. M-1 is just in Russia, lets their fighters go to One FC, UFC.
6. There are fighters that move from WSOF to Bellator, from ONE to WSOF, everyone is OK with Rizin.
7. A lot of orgs are on Fight Pass.
8. Champs in Bellator, WSOF, ONE extend their contracts, UFC doesn't even show interest.

Looks like some status quo has been reached: UFC has no real competitors, and 4 or 5 "second best orgs" are solid enough, but not in a position to provide any threat.

Thoughts? Is it good? Bad? Will it cause stagnation?

Agree, and it's good imo. UFC has established itself as the place where the best fighters are (I'm not saying there are no good fighters outside the UFC).

It'd rather have it this way so there aren't many situations where number 1 can't fight number 2 because they are in two separate orgs. There should be an established top org, just like in other mainstream sports.

I know that a lot of people say competition is good for MMA, while I am of the unpopular opinion that we've reached the maturation stage where we don't need a fragmented landscape.

you're right
I miss Pride/SF/WEC level of competition

Might change after the lawsuit is concluded.

As a result of this situation:
We will never consider Marlon Moraes, or Justin Gaethje, or Marat Gafurov #2, because they will never have an opportunity to prove it.
The champion of one of the 2nd league orgs needs to be in a situation where he is not in the good terms with management (like Will Brooks) in order to even consider leaving...

Or just finish your contract and move on. I'm sure Will Brooks wouldn't even be in that situation if he just stayed quiet on Twitter. Moraes is considering leaving and he's still getting fights.

Moraes signed already one extension with WSOF, and he talked about moving to UFC before that as well, AFAIK.
I think UFC don't want these champions anymore either...
