I just got to NYC , and all the related threads are outdated . I am looking for a good complete mma gym, that is not expensive. I saw there was the undefeated camp , pure mma and ronin athletics. Let alone dozens of reputable bjj schools . But I want to train as many disciplines under one roof. There are also hundreds of "martial arts gym" . THIS CITY IS HUGE AND COMPLEX PLEASE HELP.

Ronin Athletics, great vibe. Christian is the nicest dude and a great teacher.

Places that train standup and ground besides the ones you mention include 5 Points Academy, Team Coban, Class One MMA (Brooklyn), Renzo Gracie Fight Academy (Brooklyn), and Evolution Muay Thai.

NYC is crazy expensive. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them are at least $200/month for both standup and ground classes. Some of them include weight training equipment or crossfit type classes as well.

I think the newest gyms are Team Coban, Renzo Fight Academy, and Class One. They all opened last year.

Try out a free class or two from all of them and base your decision on that and the atmosphere/vibe. Let us know what you end up going with.

    Try New Jersey.

Renzo's Fight Academy in Williamsburg has a complete MMA program and is an awesome facility. They have great instructors in all areas and a number of well known MMA fighters train there regularly. Most MMA fighters in the city train at multiple places though.

Sinistro is teaching a few days a week at Cobans. He teaches at my school as well. He is an awesome jiu jitsu instructor.
