This is the only solution to make it fair

Like the legalization of cannabis in many country

All fighters on steroids = fair fights = no problem

I want a world without PED but it's impossible so legalize, legalize everywhere

Legalising PED's would turn MMA into a "who has the best chemist" competition, i.e. the richest people.

I agree with the first response, stop posting.

Also, the sport is already looked down on by the majority of the population, think that's going to help?
 
No. Think about it for a little longer. This would be catastrophic for lower level fighters trying to make it to the top and more importantly to young people trying to get into MMA. While the very top fighters might have the resources to take top of the line PEDs and the support of chemists or whatever to keep them safe the lower level people would not have this luxury and it would put a lot of lives at risk. Go and have a look at the amount of cyclists who died in their sleep in their 40s if you want to know what drugs like EPO do to your body long term. This needs to be stamped out of MMA and I am disgusted you would suggest something as ignorant as this.

I personally believe if you enter into an MMA or boxing match whilst taking PEDs that it should be a criminal matter with harsh penalties because you are putting your opponents life at risk in an unfair manner by scientifically enhancing yourself.

I don't post often but this riled me up a little, I sincerely hope it was a troll.

Right, because the UFC has the jurisdiction to legalize controlled substances. You might as well say "The UFC should legalize heroin!"


I'm sure no government organization would have a problem with that at all.
 
ped's expensive? really? which ones? afaik, the expensive ones are the ones that are hidden best, which makes the current situation a chemistry competition in which the rich win.

State Athletic Commissions make the rules, not the UFC.

UFC can say "Steroids are legal now!" and it wouldn't be true, because they don't make the rules.

How do people watch MMA and not understand the concept of regulating bodies?

heres a mind blowing fact. Weed is legal in some places but still a banned substance by wada.

Ibuprofen is legal pretty much everywhere...guess what. It's still a banned substance in competition.
 
Good idea. I can already see the kids at the gym being taught bbj, wrestling, boxing, muay thai, and the most important chemistry 101.
 
You can't force everyone to destroy their internal organs with steroids just to be competitive. What kind of backwards logic is that.
