I'm tired of hearing whiny little Hunto fanboys say this stuff.

"Oh Werdum got lucky with that knee"

Hold on, did that knee come down from Heaven? Was that knee off of a mistake from Hunt? Did Hunt's chin just completely implode and the fight was stopped due to injury without me knowing?

It's the same stuff that Tyron Woodley haters say. "He didn't really beat Carlos", even though Woodley was tooling him on the feet for a round and a half.

Hunt dropped Fabricio twice, and that was very impressive. I think Hunt won the first round easily, but the second round was pretty even besides Werdum getting dropped whilst off balance.

Fabricio clearly has a better gas tank than Mark, and who knows what would have happened in Round 3, 4 or 5 if the fight had continued. The second round wasn't even over, yet haters want to say that Hunt had the fight in the bag. Acting like this was a Silva vs Sonnen I situation.

Werdum hardly snatched victory from the jaws of defeat - he was still in that fight.

Oh, and HE and ONLY HE threw the beautifully timed knee, but guess a flying knee is lucky!?

You know, you throw a flying knee to score points, right? Just a light attack, with no viscous intentions?

Cool ;)

I don't give a shit - Nate Diaz

Only think I know is that I would pick Hunt in the rematch.

Agreed. It's like those are the same people who thought AA was winning that fight but Fedor got a fluke KO.

Theres no denying that he was winning the entire fight up until that knee. Werdum had no answer for the standup and Hunt was too damn big in the guard to control.
But that doesnt matter. He got tired and sloppy and ate a knee.

I know this thread is about Werdum but this is what caught my eye. That's not how I remember the Condit/Woodley fight

I hope you'll forgive me for not taking your word on it, but with your username I think it's hard for you to be objective on a Condit fight.

Never understood the hate on Carlos btw, one of the most savage, vicious and aggressive mixed martial artists of all time

Hey dude, I know it's easy to presume I hate Condit - but I really don't.

I needed to make a Sherdog account, and wanted something MMA related as my name, rather than calling myself Stephen lol. Yes Stephen is my actual name.

It's just a bit of fun, and I'm the biggest Nick Diaz fan ever.

All fun and games.

PS: Woodley was about to be 20-18 up on the cards. His takedown did the damage, he gets the TKO. It's not some freak accident, if he dumped a stranger on their ass on the concrete and the guy cannot walk afterwards, it's a win lol.

The hate never started until he beat Nick Diaz. God forbid he uses a gamelan to win. Everybody couldn't stand that he out smarted Diaz the whole fight.

Fair enough. That was one of the rare cards that I was drinking during. I remember it fucking sucking

Learn this from Conor, winning a fight for 7 minutes and getting finished, isn't winning a fight lol.

Would you really!?

By that logic, you'd pick Conor over Diaz in a rematch?

You know, winning for 7 minutes and getting finished makes you the favorite next time - right?

Same thing for Miesha and Holly.

It wasnt a lucky knee
But dont forget that Hunt had much less time to prepare and the fight was in Mexico ... and Hunt threw several blows that missed Werdum by inches, if one of those would have landed it would have been a diferent story
Still it was a very good win for Werdum , i would like to see a rematch but it will probably never happen

Didn't Hunt take that fight on short notice? Werdum should be crucified like McGregor was against Mendes.

Regardless of your user name I'll be referring to you as Steve Diaz from now on.

This is complete bullshit. Werdum was outstriking Hunt in round 2.

Some of you should actually watch fights.

Also Jon Jones did not destroy Daniel Cormier
