Hello everyone, I've sat back and watched as this forum has basically taken the most impressive, revolutionary and inspirational athlete in the sport and made him out to be the Lance Armstrong of MMA. I believe it mostly comes from people being uneducated on PEDs at the elite levels, but with all the racist rhetoric these days who knows. Just one question needs to be asked to get to the truth and what makes the most sense.
Anderson as we know tested positive for Drostanolone, as well as some anti-anxiety medication. I'm not going to touch on the anxiety meds as they don't make you stronger, faster and more accurate like steroids do. The Masteron is all you need to give him the benefit of the doubt. Keep in mind he never had a dramatic physical change like Belfort, and his performances weren't inconsistent he just wasn't as skilled on the ground until Nog bros took him under their wing.
Anderson at the time was the highest paid athlete in MMA, had millions already made and had already accomplished virtually everything one would want to in the sport. In the only fight he tested positive he tests positive for a drug that costs less than $100 for a cycle, does anyone see a problem with this? Just me? I'll continue, try and find one other multi-million dollar athlete that tested positive for the same thing, I'm not talking Bonnar or Kevin Casey who barely have 6 figures in the bank. I won't hold my breath. So a guy who supposedly juiced his whole career isn't smart enough to know the half-life of what he's using? I mean he's only been a drug cheat his whole career and passed the same tests his opponents failed for the same drug, "he just messed up his cycle". Right, a cycle of junk.
Then you have Anderson's excuse, erectile dysfunction, what man would publicly admit this of all the excuses to use if it wasn't true, talk about embarrassing, and what happened? People just made fun of him. If Anderson juiced his whole career he for sure wasn't very good at it, which contradicts all the tests he passed before and was using a weak cycle, unlike Sonnen (HGH, EPO, Testosterone) he had the elite cocktail that most athletes use to cheat at the highest levels like Lance Armstrong also didn't have nearly the same financials as Anderson. Anderson more than anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. So if you truly believe Anderson was a drug cheat his whole career, realize it just doesn't make much sense.
EDIT: I know it was the first out of competition testing but that still doesn't explain his positive test on fight night, it was not his first fight night test.
