Ok admit it sherdog, there have been touching moments in all these years off mma.

So lets admit, which mma moment made you cry, or tear up a bit.

I sorta teared up after jds vs cain when rogan interviewed Jds and the crowd was booing, and junior asked "why you guy booing? Like it hurt his feelings that he felt he fought a tough fight, took a beating for them and gave it his all and they boo'd. Made me feel sad and teary eyed.

Put your egos and e-cred aside and admit to a moment in mma that made you tear up outright cry.

I've never actually wanted to cry during an event (no tuf guy), but when I think back about Cro Cops UFC career it hurts. Also how dejected Fedor looked after getting pounded by Silva. And yeah, the crowd booing JDS was a sad moment for any real MMA fan.

    are you joking?

you don't actually know any of these guys, they are in a fight, someone has got to lose, you shouldn't have any real attachment to these guys. i understand that people get deep into mma but crying if a fighter your a fan of gets fucked up... dude you need more things in your life by the sounds of it.

I've never cried or even been close in regards to MMA. I'm not a tough guy, I cry at the movies, it's not that.

It's just that MMA are fucking warriors battling it out, and to me it doesn't call for tears. I know they're back on track the very next day.

I guess Evan Tanner and Sammy Vasquez were pretty upsetting bits of mma news.

Yeh man, the Coleman thing was sad for me. I didn't cry, but I bet my eyes would have watered if I was having a crappy day at work, or my Girlfriend dumped me that day. Sad stuff when kids are involved.

It's not a fighter losing that has made me cry but more tears of happiness.

I mentioned Big Daddy vs Frye above. It was Gary's retirement match from Pride where he had been a fan favourite. He'd already lost to Don twice beforehand.

To see him win decisively and then the reaction of the crowd etc. Was pretty emotional.

never cried. I was angry and shocked when Serra finished GSP. That fight likely provoked the most negative emotions from me.

Also the other Boondock one, Third Man, with the ref cams.

And the one where Giant Silva walks alone in life.
