UFC buying Pride, I guess. I mean it literally broke 'The Heavies' whole premise as they were the two 'heavyweight' promotions - you used to be a UFC nuthugger or a Pride fanboy, then, evil Dana made his biggest power move and destroyed that beautiful equilibrium.

Rampage's rampage was right up there, dark moment, and yeah nearly crashed the place (pun not intended).

What used to break Sherdog was when the only way to get live info on fights was the play by play text. People would keep pressing refresh to get the latest update and it crashed the site I believe durong one of the Pride GP

That was satisfying to watch. Fighters should be so lucky to retire the way Crocop did. He exited the game while on a 10 fight win streak. The best way a legend can hang em up.
He’s also avenged at least three of his losses.
