MMA merchandise in San Francisco Bay Area ?

I am looking for places which sell mma equipment in SanFrancisco Bay Area. Especially MMA/pride/ufc Gloves. If anyone who lives there could inform me about sport stores (or martial arts stores ?) which sell this kind of equipment, I will appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

Alot of schools sell gloves. Where exactly in the bay are you and what exactly are you looking for? Any particular brands in mind? If you can answer these questions I can tell you pretty quick where to find them or if you are not able to get them in the bay.

thanks man, a friend of mine resides there (berkeley area? i guess) and he told me he can buy this kind of merchandise for me if theres such a shop that sells mma gloves etc. in san francisco bay area.

I'd like to have pride replica gloves or Ouano gloves but since my friend and I dont seem to find a shop we dont have many options in brands I guess. Looking forward for your reply bro, thanks again for your advices man. My buddy said its thanksgiving there & he's thinking about shopping so I need to find such a shop this week or I dont have any mma merchandise. There should be a good shop in your area, man

lots of orgs use fairtex and their MMA and boxing/thai gloves are top quality, you can't go wrong.

I know, san francisco & "pride" = a deadly combination, but at least he's 25, he can avoid the more dangerous one and choose the martial arts contest. If he were 15, I'd be worried though...

I live relatively close to San Francisco and still buy all my stuff online, as it's difficult to find good gear at any of the retail stores. I would just check out shipping prices and decide which is cheaper: Shipping directly to Turkey or shipping to your friend and having him mail the stuff to you.

P.S. The gay story in SF really tends to get exaggerated by people outside of SF. Yes there are gay communities, but they tend to stick to themselves (they have pretty good straight/gay radars, I guess LOL). So if you ever come to SF, don't worry about getting gangraped or anything

There is no where in near Berkeley that sells pride replicas or ouano gloves. If he goes to San Francisco he can get MMA gloves that are KONJO brand MMA gloves at Fight and Fitness (its a muay thai school). You can try Fairtex in San Francisco also to get their brand MMA gloves but, sizes are very limited at the school pro shop. Your friend can drive down to ISK in San Jose they sell CSI brand MMA gloves there too. I think that's about it.

Thanx for the reply, guess I should prefer online shopping in this case; my friend should bring something else as a present from the US (not the other "pride", though) . As for the gay community; if my friend whos xtra homophobic & living there didnt mention much about them, it surely is exaggerated. Or...he simply became one.
