MMA media needs to ask Conor McGregor about sexual assault investigations

This is what I mean by stretching the limits of credulity.

Very few crimes can be ‘confirmed’ in the manner you are suggesting.

The victim was examined at a specialist sexual assault unit after being taken there by a member of her family less than 24 hours after the event had occurred. She was then spoken to by detectives who specialise in dealing with rape multiple times in the following days and weeks. It is the opinion of these people, who are experts, that the victim was raped. McGregor’s DNA was present in the rape kit so the allegations against him are very serious and substantive. It’s not certain that he commited this crime but there are clearly huge questions to be answered and the man is about to make millions fighting on Saturday night, it is a more than legitimate line of journalistic enquiry as to what he has to say about it.
Could you show me some proof of that?

First time i've heard that said?

There are these things called rape kits. Police wouldn’t be investigating a rape if one didn’t happen. It’s now at the stage of finding the guilty party. You must be on his PR team how fervently you don’t want him to talk about it.
Hahaha, call the police and tell them someone raped you, they'll start an investigation if it's true or not.

As for being his PR, nah I'm just someone well aware that sometimes people tell lies especially when those lies have a financial incentive attached, and I'm sorry to inform you but a rape kit does not prove rape, if you have sex with someone and then they decide afterwards to inflict injuries on themselves it will show up in a rape kit, it does not prove rape, only injuries consistent with rape which you'd probably inflict on yourself if you were going to falsely claim someone raped you.

I'm not saying the alleged victim did any of this, just as i'm not saying Conor is innocent, coz I don't have a clue, time will tell.

Did most of you skip the high school class where they explained the word “allegedly” or something?

Y’all so thirsty for his blood it’s unreal. It’s not in the least the job of MMA journalism to inquire about ALLEGED crime and ongoing police investigations.
True, but it's entertainment.

I want to see what will happen if someone asks this question.

Apologies, it seems that hasn’t been confirmed in the press.

What was reported was that upon visiting the police station with his lawyer to hand himself in he told police that the sex was consensual and provided DNA samples. This is something that a lawyer would only advise a client to take as a defence if they were sure they would confirmed as the individual involved.

Once again I don’t know that McGregor isn’t innocent of the crime but look at the discussion being generated on this. I do not buy the argument that it’s not a legitimate line of questing for journalists.

Yeah let's see some casual MMA journalists play the sleuths and pretend they can talk abou difficult subjects. They probably dreamt about it for years lol. I am sure they are very giddy about asking some serious stuff.

HE HASN'T BEEN CHARGED

HE HASN'T BEEN CHARGED

HE HASN'T BEEN CHARGED

its fucking hilarious how the second a girl make an accusation about any man, 90% of fellow men throw "innocent until proven guilty" out the window...

I wonder how they will feel it it ever happens to them....

We do know someone was raped. The question is by who and the media used to be about finding out the truth. Because Conor is seen as the face of mma it is well within reason to ask about these allegations. You see world leaders asked about allegations, other sports stars, even everyday people. What makes Conor so special?
Conor admits he was the one who had sexual contact and DNA was recovered. This is from the cops, not rumors

Because no matter how annoying he doesnt deserve his name smeared til proven guilty

But you do understand that being investigated has zero correlation to being guilty
You're pretending there's no physical evidence against Conor. There's more than enough to convict him.

1. Rape is an incredibly difficult crime to get a conviction in
Date rape is hard to get a conviction. This is a brutal assault with Conor's DNA recovered from the victim. You're either completely ignorant of the case or intentionally ignoring the evidence.

Joe Rogan should ask him in the post fight interview

Please name one member of the MMA media that is willing to lose their event credentials (maybe permanently) for asking questions about an ALLEGED crime that he isn't even being charged with yet. If and when he is charged, courthouses exist to sort these things out. What does a press conference for a fight have to do with his legal matters?

The first media person that shows up at the press conference and asks that question is a fuckin' idiot. Period.

if an internet shitposter like you knows this then why are the people directly involved in it performing a legal investigation? perhaps you should share your evidence with them?

/worthless post that disregards the seriousness of rape

Shitposters have never met a woman, and Reddit told them that most allegations are fake.

They also wanna sound "edgy". Sad.

yeah a lot of people online are in a rush to prove that they are more dead inside and full of hate than everyone else there. its probably a cry for help tbh

this is all so offensively dumb and wrong that im not going to bother with most of it, except to point out one thing. in one of the rape cases that is going on, the woman is said to have been seriously injured and that her clothes were bloody. you need to do some reading about whats going on here because you clearly havent got a clue

if that was the case, conor would have been arrested a long time ago....clearly, there's alot more to it.

Luke Thomas would but Conor wouldn't let him get within 10 miles of him.

I'd rather let MMA media ask about MMA and the law enforcement deal with crime.
