Don't know about the porn but mma isn't huge in Japan, its more a fringe sport from what I saw.

Even if don't know a lot about Japan you should know that MMA isn't even close to be Japan's biggest sport. Baseball and football are much bigger.

It isnt the biggest sport in Japan, its probably not even top 5. I cant see any real reason why they should be dominating even if it was though, theres pretty stiff competition from other nations.

    You Ese!
Can mods ban that guy posting porn? I'm scared to even go into threads now cuz that little virgin keeps posting that shit and I'm at work. I don't get too much free time and I'd like to not get fired and lose my license to practice in the process.

It's NEVER been "huge in Japan". They filled arenas ... but I went to a few Pride events in 2004/5 while working in asia. Admittedly these weren't the peak years of Pride. But the cards I went to, Pride28 and the LW/WW GP 1st round had a who's who of the sport at the time.

When people in Japan asked me why I was there... 100% of the people I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about. Like, I had to explain the sport before I even got to talk about the people that were fighting.

I got carded years ago just because I quoted a non-pornographic gif that had the watermark of a site that hosts porn gifs.

Well, I'd still say sumo and judo are bigger. UFC FN 117 was in Saitama, the day after the sumo tournament in Tokyo, I went to both and the crowd looked bigger in my memories at the sumo fights.
