When you had Jon Jones making the walk or GSP or even Prime Spider or Fedor or many of the former beasts like Sergei Khartinov or Wanderlei etc etc. These days are long gone imo.

Sorry for saying this but everything seems artificial to me who loves the technicality part of fighting and also mean dudes going at it but nowadays it's turning into pop-culture where the best don't fight the best just check out the recent lined-up fights and upcoming title fights

It absolutely isn't, they let women in the cage. Without a mop bucket.

After watching all of last night's card(minus the first two rounds of Moroz/Taylor) I had felt like I lost some interest in MMA...which was sad. But surely it was just because it kind of stunk in the middle of it & i'll surely be back to being excited about things as 202 nears closer.

It looks like more fighters are becoming jacks of all trades rather than specialists in a more traditional martial art which can't really mean good things imo, we do have Wonderboy repping kickboxing/ karate though so maybe there is room for it.

Overall it sucks to admit that I have lost some interest tbh.

Don't let the door hit you on the ass.

The more fair weather fans that GTFO the better.

It's become professional. Baseball experienced the same thing back in the day. It started becoming more about money and presentability than it did about spectacle or showmanship. Back in the day MMA fighters were still learning what did and didn't work so they brought their own identity and personality. You had BJJ guys and wrestlers and kickboxers, but now everyone is homogenized because they all know what works and what doesn't

everything changes

life is like that..

you are getting old TS

You are way off. The fact is that the UFC didn't have big money fights back in the day. It was the guys you mentioned and everyone else. So now they have big money fights and they should make them while they can. As long as merit based fighters get a shot at the title every other time or two out of three times, I don't get the reactions of some fans. The right guy will end up with the title and when they get it, they will also want the biggest money fight they can get.

Just dont watch every card especially the ones you have no interest in. If there are good fights watch them later.

MMA is 2 trained fighters fighting in a cage.

That will never not be entertaining to me. Doing it or watching it.

Fighters come and go, the sport will always be the rawest, most exciting sport out there.

Sergei signed with Bellator, no?

CroCop and Fedor are fighting soon.

Melvin Manhoef was recently robbed of a MW title.

Mark Hunt is still knocking heads off when he isn't bitching about Brock.

The Diaz bros are about to be ppv headliners on cards in the same year.

GSP is coming back

You sound so stupid

MMA needs more Ninjas and less Rondas and Connies

Silent mother fucking assassins

Last night was so bad, it was like it was a chore to watch it. Everything seems so repetitive and looks the same. Some cards are great though.. and UFC 202 should be a lot of fun. But its true UFC are not building enough stars like they used too, the belts change hands way too often to create stars and there is too much low level MMA in UFC now, we saw a lot of it last night. Like main event was one fighter who is talented but still very very raw in Yair and Caceras who has a losing record in UFC.. that would never be main event a few years ago. Would be a basic prelim fight

The glory days of Mma have come and gone, those who were not into Mma at the time to enjoy it are the ones that deny they missed out.
