I guess we'll know soon if he's the sole hurdle or if theres others hiding behind the curtain.

Hope it works out. MSG would be perfect for cage fights

Unless another anti-MMA person takes his place as speaker and blocks legislation like he did.

Hopefully not. This is good news.

He was blocking it cause he's in bed with the Culinary Unions, not much that he's against MMA

Has been posted so many times and is so stupid. He gets arrested, gets out on bail, trial takes years and will not end with a conviction. He is not going to disappear because of this. If anything he will be desperate for Culinary Union cash and oppose MMA even more fiercely. This guy is the cockroach of NY politics, unkillable and unstoppable. Don't get your hopes up.

Its a shape of the highest caliber msg has never seen a mma event.

Whoever gets into office there will be in the pocket of the unions as politicians nearly always are. Probably the best way to sort it out from a UFC point of view is to sit down with the unions and come to an agreement about how they treat their casino employees. Not going to happen though.

Doubt he is anti MMA. He is pro bribery money and the money that is going to him wants to keep MMA out. More then likely that money would have no problem finding someone else in power to take it.

I could see a card stacked with LHW title fight (if Jones is still champ) and MW title fight (if Weidman is still champ) at MSG. That would be awesome.

That's the point though that if he gets arrested he will be asked to step down. Whether or not he does is a different story but I'm not so sure continuing to accept bribes would be the smartest move in his current position.

This guy has been investigated more than Gotti. He's not stepping down. Contributions are not technically bribes so he'll be grabbing them. Double down on everything.

Ah did not know that. Oh well guess will see what happens.

Don't need him gone just need him to step down from the speaker position.
