MMa in Mass/RI

Hi I was looking to start training in BJJ or MMA. I have done a little research and two schools that came up are Team Gillette in Fall River and Team Santos in Rhode Island. Does anybody have any experience with either of these schools? Any advice would be appreciated.

From what I have seen of fights in New England and heard from my coaches, Team Santos is a decent school that puts out solid fighters

I heard a lot of good things about team Santos and I train with someone who knows Matt very well. I would go visit both school to see which one you like the most.

Team Santos is a great school, I actually started out there.

I'm wondering on the area your looking to stay in..... there are a lot of good schools in MA. I dont know a lot about the ones in RI. I know Black Diamond (used to be Omoplata BJJ) is suppose to be good in RI.

Team Santos isn't open any more? Since when? Says who? Just curious.

Best place to train in that area is Best Way BJJ. He has a few schools, but his main school is in Rockland, MA. Unbelievable instruction and great students. I train at his school on the north shore and I love training there.
