MMA fighters winning Olympic Medals

Exactly. To my knowledge no mma fighter ever won olympic anything given they were MMA fighter first.
This
An olympic run normally starts at young age while a mma career starts in a middle age
There’s also the business thing where contracts wouldnt let fighters leave for olympics
The closest we got (that i remember) was when Anderson Silva wanted to represent Brazil in tkd.
Even though he didnt seemed serious, the brazilian comission vetoed him

Yoel Romero won silver in the 2000 Olympics but didn't compete in MMA for 8 or 9 years after that.

Edit:
Just looked it up and it appears that Matt Lindland had a few pro MMA fights before getting a silver medal in the 2000 Olympics.

Matt Lindland was a beast… Silver medal.

Randy and Hendo get all the love, but Matt was the best wrestler on Team Quest.

more like olympic champions who became mma fighters.

ain't no mma fighter getting a medal at the olympics.

There was talk of Lil Nog boxing for Brazil in the Olympics, but he never did. He won a bronze at the Pan-American games though in 2007, which was many years into his MMA career.

Satoshi Ishii won gold in the olympics in Judo and had a long MMA career where he fought notable names like Fedor, Cro Cop, Jiri and Rampage
