A simple question. why do you guys doubt/deny that MMA evolution is real and its continue to evolve?
For me and many others, MMA has evolved a ton since the 2000s and is still evolving today.
sure you can not take words from a random sherdogger like me but theres a ton of mma coaches, fighters, champion support the idea of MMA evolution.

They're the same goofy dipshits who deny it's easier to become top level at LHW or HW than at WW/LW/FW even though it's so super obvious that insiders such as Frank Mir, Big Jon McCarthy, Brendan Schaub and Mike Brown openly admit it.

Fedor would still maul the "new breed" of MMA fighters. Stipe would be laid out unconscious

This. Certain styles are timeless and still the blue print for success.

While its true training and fight prep has evolved fighting is still fighting so if you were well rounded 10 years ago you would still be able to have success today.

The sport won't see a true evolution until the kids who actually grew up training MMA exclusively and not taken it up after years of training in a single discipline which will be starting to happen in the next few years.

Fighters are more well rounded but I don't think that they highest levels of striking, grappling, and wrestling are much much higher than 5-10 years ago. I'd actually argue that maybe there is less excellence in each part of MMA. Guys just have less weaknesses. There are less specialists and more jack of all trades, master of none types.

No evo? Lot of people argue The evolution of MMA? People never cease to disappoint me.

Really good observation.

fighters are more well rounded now and training facilities are better. But that doesnt make them better. its like being a jack of all trades, master at none. Back in the day, there were specialists that adapted their skillset. Generally speaking of course.

Also, Point fighting makes the fights stale.

I agree with what Jimmy Smith said. There is a lot more creative striking. Things that at one point were considered high risk or long percentage get used way more.

Unfortunately Din Thomas is right too. A fighters mouth can easily take them places their skill never could.

The octagon is actually flat but the UFC is covering it up.

HW did'nt evolved, the rest has

I don't know shit about WMMA, but PVZ boobs evolved too

The general consensus is that it has evolved at every level besides heavyweight, where it has CLEARLY declined since the early 2000s.
