After his win over Cejudo, people were clapping and cheering for his victory. Even his post fight interview got a reaction.

The bar crowd... definitely not his primary demographic within the mma world. Good for MM.

Is this bar located in Lilliput or Biefuscu?

Did anyone see him walk in or did the bartender give an announcement?

How did they know he entered the bar though?

Seems like people turned a corner on Mighty Mouse with that win. As long as he's put as the co main event, I think people will accept and like him. I don't think you can ever expect him to headline a PPV again though. People will still walk out if he goes on another 25 minute decision run.

There was a baseball game on the next TV.

They were just glad that it was finished in the first round.

seems to be the general consensus from everyone ive heard from about it/every thread ive seen on it. Including where I was at. People flipped shit. Was nice to not be the only one cheering for MM :D

Just needs good marketing. Julio Ceasar Chavez was a little dude but always co headlined with Mike Tyson fights, got hima ton of exposure and a ton of love. Granted JCC was a come forward KO monster it's a little easier to bridge that gap as a little guy but still. MM shits on his opponents.

maybe im out of the loop but do people not enjoy watching DJ?? 5 rounds or not, he is one of the most exciting fighters to watch, he destroys everyone he fights with such impressive technique and game planning. Anytime he's on a card, im super stoked to see it. Whats with the hate?

My experience too OP, I think Mouse appeal is starting to take hold. I love his don't care attitude in the face of criticism. Deserving champ in all aspects.

Most people on Sherdog are 6'5, built like linebackers and rep 275 on the bench...that's why.

I think when he has fights people and fans support him. But a week after his fights people tend to forget about him. He needs to amp up his charisma or something.
