Lu told me that November would be when the first batch would be in. Not sure if that is going to include both models or just the Lutador.

I talked to her a couple of weeks ago and was told the same thing as Roy just stated.

YES! i cant wait, Mkimonos comming back or something like it anyways and the ground force kimonos both sound exciting. I still wish i could have got a Mkimonos Gracie Barra kimono back whent hey were in production.. those things are super nice... and not to thick..

Anyone have the V&M kimonos made by MKimonos? If so, how are they? They seem to be V&M badged gold weave MKimonos. Besides the patches, are they the exact same thing?

Just received my Lutador gi. The hybrid weave is super nice! I think its my favorite weave. Its not too thick and extremely pliable. Unfortunately, my fat ass doesn't fit in the pants. I'm hoping to switch them out for a size that fits. The new Lutador line runs more fitted than their old MKimonos brand. I own their old gold weave. The Lutador jackets come preshrunk and the length was perfect out of the box. I just wished the pants did, too. They are the perfect length, but I had probs putting the pants on when wearing a cup. Other than that, the new Lutador gi's are really nice and I highly recommend them.

That's definently too small for you. I'm 5'8" 180 and it fits me snug.

How are the new Lutadors fittin for you? I have a thick, stocky build and the butt/thigh area on my Lutador gi is tight. I tried fitting the pants with a plastic cup, but to no avail. According to Luciana, the new line of Lutador gi's are similar to their original MKimonos line from way back when, which have a snuggier fit. I own a V&M De La Riva signature gi made by MKimonos. Its gold weave and fits like a dream. Its a bit roomier than the new Lutadors, but at least I can move in the pants. Has anyone else had issues with the snuggier fit, particularly in the pants? If not, do you have a skinny build?

I might return my gi in hopes that the new Mkimonos coming next month might fit better. If not, I will def exchange the pants for a bigger size. The hybrid weave is too awesome to pass up, so I'm hoping to get one that fits.

i dont know i wear a3's every day but i put on a mkimonos a2 the other day and it fits regulation.

I also put on an unwashed atama a2 and it fit. As well as a a2 vitamins and minerals that fit fine as well.

we will see. Its def going to be small.. but the thing im looking at.. Is it legal?

6'2" and 210lbs?!? Dude, you are like an A3/A4!!! The A2 Lutador gi will be skin tight on you!

IMHO, the new Lutador gi's fit similar to the Sirius gi's and a bit like the Gameness gi's. The Gameness gi's have a bit more shoulder room, thou.

I wear a3's right now and My atama fits fine But i washed it in HOT water and Dried it on HOT a couple times before it got to my liking.. My Dragao is too big.
I have a A4 Keiko Racca and it is huge.

The A2's ive tried on fit snug but im looking for the smallest thing that i can wear to competition.

Like i said it should be here soon and i will let you guys know. I will even take pics.

Yo Gsoares, hmm I see that you too like to wear snug gi's. For some reason I'm also thinking of ordering A1's from now on because I HATE the feeling of a loose gi while rolling. People just use them to pull it over my head. Good luck with the A2 but some gi's like Gameness make snug A2's so it could be too small depending on the gi's.

Like Soid said, the new Lutador's fit hella snug like the Gameness gi's. At least I can wear the Gameness gi pants thou.

Do you think the Lutador pants would loosen up once I roll around in it, or should I just exchange em for a bigger size? Right now its like wearing a tight pair of crotch huggin jeans and hard to squat in. I like the snug fit as well but don't want to look like I'm wearing spandex.

Dude, they won't stretch that much. Exchange them. Are the pants pre-shrunk as well as the top? If not see if Luc will sell you just the pants one size up and shrink to fit.

If it fits you well, I'll probably buy a A1. Those gi's fuckin rock. When you get them, can you verify if they are the same as the old Machado's?
