Met him in my hometown at a local show in September, back then he seemed bitter about losing the decision but none the less was very nice, he and Sean Sherk went to local bar afterwards also

honestly surprised he hasn't been cut after losing his first two Ufc fights and don't get why he's bitching about Kuivanen fight. I thought Anton won pretty clearly.

Btw Kuivanen/Clarke had one of the most hilarious stats ever. IN a 3 round fight, that went the distance, Clarke landed a total of 6 significant strikes.

Still how could he of thought he won when Kuivanen landed nearly 5 times as many significant strikes, over twice as many strikes as total, landed the same amount of takedown attempts(3), stuffed 5 of Clarkes takedowns(Clarke stuffed 0 of Kuivanen), and had his guard passed 4 times. There literally wasn't one aspect of the fight that Clarke beat Kuivanen in.

Agreed. He has not looked good at all in either of his fights. He made John Cholish look like a beast...

    HOLD ON.

Mitch Clarke is still a UFC fighter?
Fair enough. I actually enjoyed the Kuivanen fight. He gave it a good shot and definitely wasn't the worst guy I've seen in the Octagon. UFC calibre? No, but then neither are a lot of the Facebook-level guys - cannon fodder for guys they want to get a win.

I think he'd probably grapple Freakshow to a decision, sadly. If he wants a Smashes guy he's only really got Freakshow to ask for - the other two are coming off wins.

Just trying to get people talking. Matt Riddle has already proven that you can go from being a no name to a fan favourite by calling out the Brits.

Sass beat volkmann on the ground, bisping has superb defensive wrestling with close decisions vs hammill, rashad and sonnen all very good wrestlers. Hathaway beat sanchez and story and is a very competant wrestler. On average they are better strikers that wrestlers but for this no name soon to be cut guy to insult a group of fighters some of which are far far superior to him on the ground is stupid.

The best wrestler doesnt always win the fight but to call out guys because you think they match up well with your style is pathetic.

    He's basically saying, 'I'm awful, give me a no-name with poor grappling so I can L n P a win.' Congrats Mitch

"Mitch Clarke came into the UFC as one of the hottest lightweight prospects in the country"

Really? The guy he lost to in their respective UFC debuts Cholish had way more hype and promise behind him and most figured he would win.

All you lames hating on a dude who goes out and gives his all. Clarke look pretty good in his first fight with the bad knee. He will come back better and win a few.

    Mitch, is that you?

Seriously though nobody is hating, but who says "I'm a wresler, I want to fight these guys, they can't wrestle. Especially that one who's smaller than me." You can see why this line of thought is being criticised, surely?
