It was quite literally a one issue vote. It's really not indicative of anything. The economy is the top concern for Americans by quite a large margin. That will dictate how things go.

Fair point, but you've also got to account for Kansas being DEEP red. And Kansas is a rather white state. Biden got a bump in white voters relative to Hillary. Biden got almost 6% more of the vote in Kansas than Hillary.

White voters are complicated because they're the most socially liberal AND the most politically conservative. Part of the appeal of Republicans is the perception of small government and "leave me alone" "don't tell me what to do" type sentiments. Well lately, the Republicans have quite loudly been telling people what to do. Only 8 of them voted for birth control access. Out of over 200.

In your country, Conservatives have agreed not to challenge abortion rights. In this country, the Republican Party is far more socially conservative than the voters, and while white voters largely haven't felt threatened by that because they believed certain rights and freedoms were settled, clearly they're not, and white women and certain segments of white men will refuse to vote Republican and might even vote Democrat.

White centrist and conservative leaning vote. Biden def got elected on that wave, but it's not something dems can count on with any certainty moving forward and this admin really has done much to appease that group.

From top to bottom. Between inefficiencies to corruption these things need to be weeded out. I’m sure for basically any service we are getting we are overpaying by multiple times maybe even 10x in Some cases.
