Mir talking about failed test on his podcast.

His podcast partner is apparently named Dick Hunter.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So 3 things...
-Has TUE for Adderall
-Failed for a Turinabol metabolite
-answered door when USADA showed up for Feb 2 test with a gun in his tightie-whities. AMERICA! FUCK YEA! (he allowed them to test him once he knew who they were)

How does he come up clean on feb 2 and piss dirty at the fight?????

Noone in their right mind does a week long steroid cycle.....it just doesnt make sense.....

Given the length Mir takes to answer a question, I'm guessing this podcast goes on for 10-12 hours?

A week long steroid cycle? That just makes no sense at all. I'm really starting to think usada is fucking up

He physically looked like shit. If he was on something I can't imagine how bad he would of looked if he wasn't..

This. Maybe there are alternative places or physical/medical conditions that are producing the same metabolites.

The idea of anyone doing a week long cycle is retarded. You would be taking a risk with your career for absolutely no rewards.

Another more telling thing in this interview would be that Mir doesn't get a win bonus and the fight wasnt on ppv.

There was no financial incentive to take a drug....This situation stinks of errors.

Mir is innocent just like Romero was.

USADA is just very incompentent and should be investigated.

Just looked up turinabol. The half life is 16 hours and its in oral form with fairly small daily doses. So it could be out of your system relatively quick, probably screwed up on the timing.

Turinabol, great oral by the way... Especially fore u lift, gets me motivated and kinda aggressive, anyway itsgotta pretty short half life as an oral, in comparison to injectables.

Can we finally said out loud that that the vast majority of pro MMA fighters are on/using something, whether for injury recovery, pain relief, muscle advancement, etc. It's a results only type business where you're only as good as your last fight, this shit should be no surprise. It's actually fucking hilarious seeing certain people on here so up in arms; "fighter A NEVER used shit!", "it's the doping agencies screw up!", "tainted supplements!", "was the blue pill!" (rolls eyes)...it's like a kid trying to let go of Santa Claus lol.Your hero used something.

Is what it is, let's move on bitches.

I feel bad for him.

Especially when he said that his wife wouldn't leave him out of fear he may commit suicide for life insurance.

Also, him talking about talking to his dad and him crying broke me. Sad Stuff.

As an aside, I think Mir is the only fighter I've ever heard acknowledge that diuretics are on the list because they're masking agents.

Sounds like Dick Hunter and The Booty Warrior would get along great.

Seems like a natural fit

Certain roids get out of your system fast so he could have been using around the time that he was tested before that and he still could have gotten away with it

Yep. I personally don;t hold it against them much because before random testing most were using.

For example...I am a huge fan of Wanderlei but always suspected him. I wouldn't have accused him until he failed a test (or ran though) After that debacle I am not going to pretend like I don;t think he was using. Still a huge fan of Wand regardless.

I was always suspicious of Mir too but never flat out accused him until he failed.

If people are shocked that a guy that was using TRT in his early 30's was caught using then they are pretty gullible. The dude also transformed his body really fast when Brock came on the scene.

He used to look like he did in the Hunt fight and then he transformed his body. Now people are shocked that he is going back to his old body (even though he is older now)
