    This confuses me completely.
Why would anyone say that Mir/Nog 2 was a better comeback than Okami/Boestch, hell even Kongo/Barry

The way Frank Mir came back from almost being knocked out to SUBMIT Big Nog was incredible. It is a worthy choice.

I saw Kongo/Barry live and thats utter BS. I don't even think Mir was initially that rocked

Well then i am mistaken on that count (thought it was early 2012) but mir/nog was also 2011
It just seems like an odd choice when okami/boestch happened

    Kongo/Barry wasn't 2012
And Joe Rogan yelling "OMFG THAT WAS THE GREATEST COMEBACK EVAAAA!!!"
does not make it so. Mir/Nog was way more impressive than Boetsch/Okami because of how Mir did it. He submitted one of the greatest MMA submission artists of all time while rocked as hell. Boetsch knocked out a guy with average striking after losing a couple rounds

I think mir should've won the submission of the year instead.

For those who dont know the awards go from Sept 2011 to Sept 2012, its also a fan vote.

Cause moments before submitting an all time great sub master he was out on his feet.

December 2011 so it counts as 2012 in how the award year works. As much sense as that makes

Okami out grappled boetsch for two rounds, and boetsch KO'd him. It was a nice comeback, but nothing compared to Mir being almost KO'd, escaping a sub, and then snapping an mma Bjj legends arm.

I don't like Mir.. but it has to be. Especially how he won.
