Cro Cop would win head-to-head, peak for peak. Stipe doesn't have the necessary defense and his height makes him an easier target. CC in his heyday did well against tall guys.

CC also has the more legendary career, but Stipe did better against top fighters, so he's higher on a ATG list than CC (depending on which you value more).

Cro Cop had 9 from Feb '05- Feb '06. And has averaged closer to 3 fights a year in MMA, for almost twice as long. AAAAND that doesn't include his kickboxing matches.

I think these things are important

While CC has a legendary career he also lost his key fights to Nog and Fedor, while Stipe won his own against Werdum, JDS, Ngannou, Reem and the DC rematch. At least thus far. But Nog and Fedor are also the greater fighters.

Cro Cop had like 100+ fights between K-1, boxing and MMA by the time he joined the UFC and had been fighting for at least 11 years, he also had multiple ankle and knee surgeries and even had to have another ankle surgery after the OWGP. He was not in his prime.
