At a minimum what would Max need to do to have a successful performance? I think if he goes the distance and wins a round he will get a lot of street cred.

land 5 clean punches

Making it out of the octogon without a stretcher.

Him stuffing a couple of takedowns, and maybe tagging Khabib a couple of clean shots would be pretty impressive to me, on such short notice.

Khabib almost never gets hit cleanly in a fight.

Win. At the championship level there is no such thing as a moral victory.

This isn't division 5 girls soccer it's for a fucjing UFC belt(kind of?)

Max wins if he can make Khabib tell his corner, "This is #1 bullshit."

Win. There's no such thing as a successful loser.

Gustafson’s moral victory in his first fight with Jones paid off big for him so there are certainly moral victories

If he makes it out of the first round and is able to walk to his chair to sit down without the help of his corner, i think its a success.

I want to see Max give him the Marlon Moraes take down breaker.

wtf he needs to win bitch!

There is no second place second sucks. < what movie is this from?? <Moves>

if he does as much as Barboza - ie defending some TDs and fighting till the end - it will be already solid
