Word is they don't want a Russian vs. a Russian in the main event, they want something they can market to a Japanese audience.

I'd love to see Kharitonov vs. Minakov.

Would be a great fight. Winner would definitely be the best in Russia and best HW outside UFC.

Yeah, they are. The biggest ratings fights would be Brock, Couture, or Sergei. The other big fights for Fedor would be Minakov, Puetz, Tybura, Blagoy, Tony Johnson, Kongo, Goltsov, Bedorf, Volkov, and Erokhin. There are others as well and some of those fights are not as likely as others.

I'm not sure m-1 or bellator would be willing to sacrifice talent to fight Fedor without anything in return, but I wouldn't be shocked if volkov was named the opponent since he was recently released from bellator.

I am not sure what to expect in regard to anything associated with Fedor, rizin, bellator, or spike anymore since the Fedor/tk rumor and the Gracie/shamrock and kimbo/Dada announcements.

Fight Nights announced that they are planning to set these kind of "superfights" between Russians. Alexander Sarnavskiy vs. Murad Machaev already set for Fight Nights event in February. They also said that they plan to make Mikhail Mokhnatkin vs. Maxim Grishin if Grishin didn't get signed to some western promotion.

I think Minakov takes Sergei down at this point and controls him there.

Honestly it's probably a better fight than anyone on the Bellator roster. Would be fun to see Minakov tear through Kimbo and Lashley though.

I think the Fedor/TK announcement was just a rumor. Not sure who his opponent will be but some good potential options out there. Hope they get him a good opponent for the JMMA rejuvenation event.
