So this poor POG is going to basic with a bunch of rifleman grunts and at the place where Ranger school starts. I've admittedly never served but me and my buddy who was in the 82nd can't stop making fun of him for it.

I KINDA feel bad doing it as I never signed on the line so to speak but goddamn, this poor bastard.

Grunts aren't the only ones who go through boot at Benning. He'll probably be with his fellow air wingers going to school at Ft Rucker.
 
Met the senior enlisted advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff today. It's amazing at how much conflict we are currently engaged in and it is mind boggling to me that the previous POTUS tried to cut our force numbers , now we will be in the upswing to grow larger again.

Well yeah there have only been to 3 so far the billet was created in 2005. 1st one was an Army Command Sergeant Major , 2nd one a Marine 3rd and current one is another Army Command Sergeant Major.

Naw this guy was pretty good , he also kinda called out Ash Carter for being a sack of shit , in the short time Mattis has been the SECDEF moral and confidence across the service branches has gone up and Command Sgt Maj Troxwell ( Senior Enlisted Advisor) has already met with Mattis almost as much as he saw Carter.

that's correct, before I switched MOS on contract I was supposed to go to Benning and then Rucker for ATC school

Went from that to Jackson and the Lee and Leonard Wood....night and day difference haha
we had 'pizza parties' in boot camp. I'm not joking
