No, it is not.
RASP 1 is for soldiers in the rank of E-1 to E-5, an eight-week (8) course broken into two phases.
RASP 2 is for soldiers in the rank of E-6 and above, and all officers, a three-week (3) course.
Ranger school is an eight-week (8) course for both NCOs and officers.
You have to complete both to be a 'true' Ranger with the 75th Ranger Regiment. So, for most soldiers, they are doing a 16 week course.
Why do some soldiers make it through RASP and not Ranger school?
