Mike Winkeljohn and his authority of banning Jon Jones from Jackson-Wink

Mike’s biggest success is Holly Holm, he plucked her from a cardio kickboxing class and made her a world champion, good on him! But listen, I’m not defending Jon Jones in any way, but it is known Winkeljohn has been the absolute downfall of the gym Greg Jackson founded. Fighters like Cowboy Cerrone, Diego Sanchez, Mike Perry, and many others have only had negative things to say on how he runs the gym.

Now I would respect Mike if he would just cut off all ties with Jon, and that means taking down all his pictures off the gym walls and distancing himself from Jon’s past accomplishments, but Mike banning Jon from the gym was purely a PR stunt. Jon shouldn’t even be interacting with the general public at the gym anyway, yet since Cowboy exposed Mike for turning the gym into a circus, professional fighters have to deal with being around untrained casual gym goers. Talk about unprofessionalism from Jackson-Wink!

you have to think, jon has been training there for sooo many years now. I’m sure him n winklejohn have a very close relationship. If you’ve ever had experience dealing with a drug addict or alcoholic in your life, eventually you need to set boundaries, to help that person.

It's the other way round, Greg Jackson has more or less retired and Winkeljohn has been trying his best to keep the gym together. Too bad he isn't good enough for that task.

Using these two imbeciles as proof is not a smart move. Regarding Diego there was a lot of talk how erratic Diego behaved in the gym. He brought in this cultist joke Fabia into the gym facilites and that caused problems. Honestly I can understand every gym kicking Sanchez out at this mental state of his with conspiracy talk and the esoteric mumbojumbo.

Mike Perry talked about that he "didnt click" with Winjeljohn. We are talking about a guy who let his girlfriend coach him and has serious anger issues .

I have no sympathy for Jackson Wink but these two really are not a good example of that. Cerrone a lot more.

Well Mike Perry actually won that fight where his girlfriend cornered him. I don’t believe in someone’s message automatically being invalid because of biases against their personalities, I actually despise your sentiment here.
