Hey I dont really follow boxing. Mainly follow K-1 and MMA. I am just wondering if any of the veteran boxers or boxing fans were around when Tyson was in his prime scaring and KOing guys. He sure is a character.

Since I wasnt there im curious as too whether Tysons immense punching power and light voice raised the suspiscion of roids back then? Did people think this was possible, was he accused? I actually wasnt around so I have no clue im not even insinuating he was or anything. Just wondering this since usually when a fighter is so dominate an athletic force like Fedor, GSP, Alister Overeem, Randy Couture all these people succeed people seem to hotly debate steroid use.

Prime Tyson? Look at Prime Tyson's body. No signs of roids whatsoever. You can make a better case with post-prison Tyson when he started lifting weights. Post-prison Tyson had shitty endurance.

And never consider Tyson as a guy with Immense power. Yeah, he can crack, but it's more his speed and combination punching that befuddled his opponents.

And I never heard of anyone accusing Fedor for using roids. Maybe Randy because Roids can help with recovery, which is something especially useful at his age. GSP, I haven't heard anything...

Alistar... Yeah, it's amazing how his frame filled out in little over a year. He looks like he eats babies for breakfast. And people are overhyping him right now. A little over a year ago, he was getting his ass handed to him consistently and he beat no one in MMA that should warrant such hype.

I dont think GSP roids. Im very convinced he doesnt but lots of haters say that or said that when he was up and coming. Thanks for clearing this up for me. Tyson does have amazing speed and technique and I guess that equals power! How was prime tysons endurance? Even if tehre were no signs of roids..im suprised people werent accusing left right and sideways as he was just unbelievable. Atleast what ive seen of him in highlights and such.
