What does exibition even mean? A sparring session with headgear?
it can be sparring or a real fight but is usually sparring. Mayweather got mad and put the Japanese guy away for real after he started punching hard.

They'll it easy, as they should.

This should have been done after Roy beat Ruiz for the WBA Heavyweight Championship. Could have done some good PPV numbers.

Sad thing is somehow these two old farts will walk away with probably a good 10 million a piece.

Who gives a fuck? 2 50 year olds with glass jaws slugging it out because they are broke ain’t for me.

Why exhibition....and why ppv for an exhibition

Tyson and roy are gunna spar all the way to the bank lmao

This should be a real fight or nothing

Will still watch but feel kinda cheated

Didn't expect this fight.

roy is probably more past his prime than tyson is...and that's saying alot...and roy was at his very best at middleweight...how is he going to deal with someone so much larger than him? granted, it's only an exhibition...

Bleh. I guess it’s not the worst thing ever. Roy should be able to get the win but his chin is shot.

you think a former middleweight, is going to beat tyson? it is only an exhibition...they might not even have a winner...but roy's chin is glass now...and tyson still has a ton of power.

Think Tyson fucks up Roy. Roy's game was always quickness and movement, that goes a lot worse with age than just fucking blasting people.

Not that Tyson wasn't fast but in prime Jones was probably the quicker guy.

tyson was fast, when he got inside...on the outside, he was at his weakest...roy was far faster than mike...it's not even close...have you ever seen roy fight? in his prime? now, he's probably still pretty quick, but no where near as fast as years ago. and roy at his best was a middleweight.

agreed

If true, Roy's tendency late in his career to lean against the ropes and let his opponent tee off will be a great strategy.

great strategy if you want to get ko'd..haha....laying on the ropes against tyson, is suicide...get to watch those double hooks to body and head, with same hand...or hook to the body, uppercut with same hand...brutal...roy better keep it in the middle.

exhibitions tend to be a little harder than just sparring...they want to make a show of it for the fans...it's not really all that important who wins...but you can bet anything, that both of them, will not want to look like a bum...especially tyson...watch him look in incredible shape. he's already in good shape...he no longer has all the hangups he once had...all the drugs and partying are long over...it will definitely be something to watch...

So apparently they'll be wearing no headgear and 12 oz. gloves, but they won't be trying to take each other's heads off, according to the promotion. That would show some incredible restraint on Tyson's part. I think a light jab at this point might concuss Roy.

Tyson only has one gear, he'll either knock roy out fast or gas out and quit before the 6th.
