Not being jealous, quite the opposite in fact. I just hate to hear these stories of hanger on's bleeding him dry.
 
I know people who went to his show tour. It was the maybe worst moneygrab of all famous sports stars ever. a bored lame Tyson who would charge extra for every handshake with really nothing to tell. Have seen footage and its really bad. Dont go

The show was well reviewed and sold out almost everywhere. It was not a moneygrab at all, people knew what to expect and got what they paid for. And every show on the planet does meet and greets for an extra charge now, this was not unique to Tyson.

There's no need to spread lies just because you don't like him.

Seemed awesome to me from the vid I watched of him doing it. He was supposed to come to my town right before Covid closed the casinos. Me and my buddy were going to go.

Maybe he was so distant because everything was translated but the whole Interview was like reading his wikipedia entry. Great it worked for others

I think you are talking about the doc where he does that interview TYSON by James Toback. Where he seemed heavily sedated. Still awesome but pretty dark. That's not his one man show.

His one man show is almost the complete opposite. He is super energetic. Running around and acting stuff out like a comedian. Actually done like a live stand up special. He has a giant screen behind him playing all the clips and pics he talks about. Music. Lots of self deprecating humor. Rollercoaster of emotions. It's like a legit profeffesional one man show done by an expert entertainer.

Mike Tyson was convicted of rape once and served the time, but I do not think that makes him a rapist.

From my understanding of the totality of the circumstances (as far as I know from what is in the public domain), the lady went to his unit for some loving but did not sign up for Mike Tyson loving (aggressive sex with possible biting). Mike did not prey on her with the intention to have sex without her consent. Mike Tyson had sex with her as he only knew how, and she was not a fan. That satisfies the definition of non-consensual sex and I think he was rightly convicted thereof. But Mike Tyson is not a predator courting young girls to fuck without their consent. He's just savage Mike Tyson. I highly recommend you watch his documentary Tyson. In it he describes his appreciation for "strong" women, how he likes a woman who is going to basically fight him. More importantly, his description of sexuality sounds very aggressive. I could easily see how someone who is inexperienced with him could find themselves in an encounter that is not inline with their expectations. That is why, to this day, Tyson denies raping her. In his mind, she came over for sex and they had sex. In her mind, she was likely looking for passionate sex, and not rough fucking from Tyson.

He came to my city a couple years ago and went with my brother. It was totally worth it.
