I loved Mike Goldberg getting called out for every stupid shit he said.

I'm sure it was funny, but Goldie is fairly self aware of his shtick at this point -- he even makes fun of himself regularly for referring to Jens Pulver as "Little Eagle". Jon Anik is good at what he does, but I prefer Goldberg -- Anik rubs me the wrong way; I don't have a very rational reason to feel that way and speaking objectively I can't complain other than his poorly veiled gambling shit (which is probably not a big deal if I'm being honest). Every once in a while I feel that Anik says shit that's not in his place -- very seldom, mind you...

Thomson and McCarthy were literally bullying Goldberg on the last Bellator card. It was embarrassing.

I am quoting the exchange that occurred at the beginning of rd2 in Bandejas/Pettis:

Goldberg: Both of you guys gave me a weird look when i talked about the Anthony Pettis thing, just for the record Anthony Pettis is 5'10, Ricky Bandejas is 5'10
Thomson: You said same body type though!
    *laughing from McCarthy and Thomson*
McCarthy: You said same body type!
    Goldberg: Well same length.
McCarthy: Oh now you're saying same length, ok we got it!
Thomson: You're trying to change the argument after you've already made a point, it doesn't work that way.

And then Goldberg, as the actual professional, diverts and asks Big John to score round 1.

    Bullying LOL

Literally can't have a single laugh these days because everyone's fuckin offended, or trying to defend someone with pity.

That Pettis bit was the funniest one though. The kid Sergio was fighting looked NOTHING like Anthony, and yet Goldie says they have the same body type. John and Thomson were merely poking fun.
Do you people not have friends that you shit on for fun?

I don't think Goldie has a 'schtick'. He is just who he is. He thought he could commentate for the NFL at one time in his life. Kudos to him for trying, it isn't an easy position.

    'Professional' lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Professionals can't have fun anymore can they?

yea being aware of honest mistakes doesn't mean that you have a schtick

    Goldie is 100% genuinely him
Think you mixed up the meaning/use of 'schtick'

Whatever you're probably right. I'm not too knowledgeable on broadcasting -- just a fan more or less. I'm sure people with more knowledge on the subject will have better analysis than me.
