Miguel....what happened with that career. I swear, every time I see his name or an upcoming fight I feel like, he still has a shot to be great, but maybe I need to stop thinking that.

I bought it and I'll be watching it tonight. Why, you may ask? Cuz' Miguel's one of my favorite fighters, and it's worth paying 10 dollars if it means I can watch him fight live (and since there's no illegal streams of the event and I don't live in Indiana or wherever this is, I gotta pay to watch the fight live). I think I'll do a play-by-play of the main event; if anyone wants me to do one for any of the other fights, I may do it (the Ryan Hall fight seems interesting), but Miguel-Choate is the only fight I really care about.

He's gone to Mike Brown and Bryan Bowles land. Those little guys burn out fast, it seems.

Speed is the first thing to go I reckon, and the lighter the weight the faster you need to be.

I'm pretty bored and I don't care about the TUF final fights (the only fight left on the card is the main event, and even then that's only cuz' I have a tiny bit of money on Stipe), and the Ryan Hall fight's starting, so I guess I'll do a play-by-play for it.

    Round 1:

Some woman's the referee. They touch gloves. Hogan with a leg kick, and a body kick. Ryan lands a jab. Hogan lands a flying knee to the body. Hall has Hogan against the cage and then he gets a takedown. He's standing over Hogan landing punches. A couple scrambles ensue with Ryan trying to get to half-guard or side control, but nothing comes of it and Hall's still standing over Hogan, trying to land punches. Ryan Hall drops down on one of Hogan's legs for a heel-hook or something (most of those leg submissions look the same), and Ryan Hall gets the submission victory in the first round. Next up is the Torres fight.

That woman's the referee again. She's been the referee for all the fights, I think. SO, Wade Choate-Miguel Torres is on.

    Round 1:

Miguel's sprinkling water on the floor of the cage before the fight starts for some reason. How queer. I think they're trying to clean up some of the stuff on the floor or something. Anyways, now the fight's starting. Glove touch. Miguel circling and lands a leg-kick. Miguel with a jab and another leg-kick, but Wade throws his own leg-kick. Miguel coming forward in the center of the cage. Wade lands a left hand, but Torres covers with his forearms and it didn't do any damage. Miguel quickly switches to southpaw and lands a left straight that drops Wade Choate, and now he's in Wade's open guard. Miguel gets Choate in a guillotine and Choate taps out in the first round. That fight might've only lasted a minute. Great for Torres. That left straight was beautimous.

Glad to hear Torres got a win. Wouldn't mind a resurgence back to UFC or even a Bellator tourney.

So he beats a 15-15, now 15-16 fighter.

I see Miguel has gone back to his roots to get some wins. Bravo.

Also nice to see Torres' and his gym sponsored the event. Def went out of his way to get back on track fighting such promising prospects.

No, I only recorded the Torres fight. My play-by-play is pretty much what happened, though; Hall got a takedown after about a minute, stood over him punching and tapped the guy 30 seconds later.
