Who else makes cents for Belfort if Silva isn't available? A fight with Sonnen boosts his ranking and probably is the most profitable just from the whole Brazilians hate Sonnen aspect.

In hindsight, Weidman declining a fight v Belfort may have been one of the smartest decisions in his eventual shot at Silva's belt.

If Weidman does happen to defeat Silva - Belfort could end up holding the strap again.
