Elite Federation Of Grapplers | The Newest Premier Grappling Association Looks pretty interesting to me. Us Michigan grapplers should make it interesting and give it a good turn-out. I like that they are attempting to use the tournament to create a grappling circuit in Michigan.
I'm hoping there is a good turnout. I'm trying to get guys from my gym to attend rather than driving to Gary, IN for C3.
When And Where Is It? Any Info In The Web? I Know About The Michigan Open In Jiu Jitsu But Not The Grapling. Any Help Would Be Cool. Sick Of Driving To Ohio And Indiana.
I don't mean to hijack this thread, but figured some Michigan grapplers would be looking at it. I'm going to MSU this fall, do they have a BJJ club? Is there an "unofficial" collection of BJJ guys that train together there? Thanks. It's going to be hard to be away from my BJJ schools at home .
=( My camera flashed like the battery was gonna die so I just took a few pictures thinking it didn't have much juice. I then turned it off and back on and it showed the battery was half full so I started the video then. I am going to resign as chairman of the AV club.
Ah, I didn't realize I went against a GRBJJ guy. Like every grappler in the Midwest, I know a ton of Gurgel and Gurgel satellite guys...in fact, first tournament I went to, I drove along with some GRBJJ guys. You know a kid named Matt Boymer/Bolmer/something that sounds like that? Ripped, pretty boy, real cool, very good grappler? He won an in-house tournament at Gurgel's like 4 years back for sponsorship to the Gracie Nationals or Worlds...? I'll always consider him a bro. He gave me so much support when I was beginning the whole grappling endeavor. Clint is really cool too. BTW, thanks a lot for the compliment, man.
We have a few Matts right now, but I don't think the one you're talking about is still there. Thanks for the props for GRBJJ. Clint is still keeping it real in GR and now we also have Fernando Neto (blackbelt from Brazil) helping out as well. He's the little terror that won the absolute division.
