Second time missing weight and missed badly this time. Kinda speaks for itself IMO. Just too big to consistently make the weight.

Probably should. Guy always seems massive for 170. and 2 weight misses now at 170 in the UFC. He fought at MW previously before the UFC, so not completely unfamiliar territory. Wouldn't be short for the weight class either.

I'll be "that guy" and say that this card was already wildly overrated. No title fight, big-name fighters who are completely washed, and weak prelims.
Michel ruined one of the only interesting fights on the card. As penance, I say put him on the early prelims against some debutant Russian who can ragdoll him.

One of the biggest wastes of an opportunity that comes immediately to mind.

WB is 40 years old. Doesn’t pull the trigger. And it was Michel’s fight to lose.
He would have jumped in at r7 - r9 on Tuesday. From r-15 to possibly r7 in ONE fight.

Perhaps he should, but Wonderboy should also have nutted up and taken the fight, 2-3 pounds over the 171 limit was not going to change the outcome one way or the other, and Wonderboy would've gotten paid even more from a % of Pereira's purse. Say what you will but shit happens in weight cutting, thats WHY they have a financial system in place to reward the opponent when this happens, because it does happen and the show must go on. Wonderboy chose to deprive the fans of a main card fight for nothing. They could've worked it out to keep the fight on the card, hell Pereira could've even been made to agree to start the fight down a point on the scorecards and still fight, Wonderboy said no to fighting, he wanted a way out.
