In the prelims Kuiper will face Lawlor on UFC Sweden. I would like to see Kuiper winning this fight. Kuiper has black belt in judo and purple belt in Jiu jitsu, he is a young but strong fighter.
But Lawlor is a strong wrestler, has purple belt in jiu jitsu as well and he's the more experienced fighter i think. I give Kuiper a good change to win this fight, but it's gonna be a tough fight for him. What's your opinion about this fight?

Lawlor by either guillotine choke in the 2nd round or by UD. He'll be too strong and durable for the dutchman to handle at this point of his career.

Kuiper is still very young, maybe Lawlor is just to much for Kuiper indeed.

I'm training at the same gym as Michael Kuiper. There's a new Iranian wrestling champion in the gym who trains with Michael. So dont underrate his wrestling. I think Michael's Thaiboxing is much better them Lawlor's standup.

I thought Kuiper looked pretty bad agaisnt a bad Jarred Hamman with his hamstring torn. Jared could barely move and he still rocked Kuiper on one leg in the 2nd.

I believe he was signed before there first Sweden show along with a bunch of Scandinavian fighter. All those guys they signed have been terrible. Madadi, Thoreson, Cedenblade, Yousef

It's almost a joke looking back. They sign a group of guys and none of them probably even belong at this level. Bellator signs great actual talented prospects like every week. UFC signs these guy and Tiequan Zhangs teammate

The foreign shows will sell even if they don't sign mediocre local fighters.

I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but wasn't kuiper also a small guy in his weightclass ??
If so, that not gonna be in his favor.

most thought lawlor beat carmont, and kuiper is certainly a step down.

Kuiper is a great guy but I think Lawlor will be 20lbs heavier come fight night, and that's a big problem. Kuiper should drop to WW.

I thought he looked pretty good in that fight. Hamman hits hard

I hope your right. Sound good anyway.

Kuiper's standup coach is Marco van de Broek who also prepared Roy Nelson for TUF and Amir Sadollah. He is one of the best Thaiboxing coaches in The Netherlands.
So I think Michael is ready to face Lawlor

Don't sleep on Kuiper!

I think he puts Lawlor away via strikes in the 2nd.

Fellow Sportvision-er I assume?

Lawlor is going to grapple the shit out of this guy. Kuiper hasn't shown the best tank.

I'm to scared to hope for another good Dutch fighter. MMA still hasn't got it's foot in the ground over here.
