"Clean Jones"View attachment 813855
- Let's compare Clean Jon Jones to Khabib
ok add in the rest of Khabibs "big wins" and every single other former champion/undefeated fighter Jon beat with out failing a drug test. lets see how their full resume stacks up
Jones is a HW who beat up on smaller LHWs while juiced to the gills are fired up off coke
Jon literally makes LHW laughably easy while Khabib has nearly killed himself making LW. I can pull up numerous videos of Khabib late in his weight cut laying on the floor nearly crying in agony from how brutal his cuts are. Find one of Jon Jones. Or find one time Jon had to pull out of a fight from a bad weight cut.
Is Gus a HW too?
This "Jon beat 4 champions in his first 4title fights" stuff
1. Rampage was 2-1 before Jones. Considering the Machida fight a robbery/controversial decision/could have been a draw/whatever and considering he only beat Hamil by decision, it isn't much. Yeah, Rampage was a champion, but he wasn't in his prime when he fought Jones
2. Machida - Machida is a very small LHW for modern MMA. Aware of the fact that he was LHW Champ, but there are MWs bigger than him. Rockhold, for example. And Machida was 1-2 in his last 3. Or 2-1, for those who consider the Rampage fight a roberry. Not a big winning streak for him.
3. Vitor - again, a small LHW for modern MMA. He was 2-1 in his last 3. After being embarassed by Silva, he chocked Ramapage and KOd Sherdog's idol before Costa, Sexiyama. Great KO artist, but the man had 9 losses before Jones, he wasn't this "wow, how will Jones deal with him"
4. Rashad - and, for the third time, a small LHW. Rashad had a good resume, being only finished by Machida, but for fucks sake, he looked so much smaller than Jones, same like Vitor and Machida. Not only height, but frame too.
All 3, Vitor, Machida and Rashad, went to MW after their prime because they were aware of the fact they were so much smaller than present LHWs.
Aware of the fact that a weight-in is a weight-in and good for Jones for being able to do it without troubles, like DC. But those 3 fights looked like GSP vs Menjivar or like a bigger brother vs younger brother. Like it or not, Jones has had problems with fighters his own size like Gus, Santos or Reyes, all three considered robberies or controversial decisions or draws (you pick).
No, not an argument for Khabib being GOAT.
But this "oh, he beat so many champions" is stupid
