I mean, Dustin was the number 1 contender after beating 3 UFC champions. Of the 3 top guys who couldn't get past Khabib, Dustin had beat the other 2.

It sounds like Poirier wants to fight Conor or Nate next.

If Islam beats Dober, give him the title shot against Oliveira. Islam doesn't deserve to fight for a title, but it is the best chance of getting Khabib to come back. Khabib has mentioned a desire to avenge such a loss.

Chandler and Gaethje should fight for the #1 contender spot.

Poirier can jump the line for a title shot whenever he is done with those money fights, assuming he doesn't lose any of them.

I know he beat you Kevin but don't forget about Charlie Olives. 8 fight UFC win streak > 1 UFC win. Dustin vs Olives is the rightful title fight to make.
