Michael Brown, and his mom running for city council

Bullshit.
Every thing was thrown at Michael Brown to make him look bad but the thing is that none of that matters but the situation.
I don't think he walked up and started fighting a cop. That's fuckin nonsense.
What happen was a cop got pissed that some kid mouthed off and a fight started.
The cop grabbed him first "unaware of the call that was going on" remember they said that off the bat and then changed the narrative later.
Then Michael Brown tried to pull away and a fight ensued.
Michael Brown running 153ft away too turn around and make grunting noises and start hopping up and down, is only believable by an audience that would attribute a certain type of people to savages.
<Lmaoo>

No he didn't run. He turned towards Wilson, and stumbled, because he was being shot

All of the credible witnesses who saw the entire incident said Brown initial ran or charged toward Wilson. Some who only saw a portion of the incident said "walk" or "stumble," but those accounts were closer to the end when he was about to collapse from the gunfire. It's possible he slowed to a walk or stumble, but only after he ran towards Wilson, ignoring orders to stop, and kept eating bullets.

and his hands were going up in a distinctive manner, since he was being shot at. That's why everyone said different things about his hands being up and is where the narrative of hands up dont shoot came from. Really it was a man being ripped by bullets.

The few witnesses who said he was shot from behind were some combination of one or more of the following
1. Making statements inconsistent with the forensics (e.g. he was shot in the back)
2. Made statements that were inconsistent with prior statements they had made
3. Later changed their accounts

No credible witnesses support the idea that Brown was shot in the back.

Why does no one account for the fact that he was being shot at?
Everyone just expects that he had a evil mindset and that being shot at someone didn't factor into his psyche.

It's possible getting shot influenced his mindset. But before a single bullet hit him he robbed a store, was walking in the middle of the street, and was assaulting a police officer in his own car and possibly reaching for his gun.

Here's the DOJ report https://www.justice.gov/sites/defau...doj_report_on_shooting_of_michael_brown_1.pdf

Some quotes:

Witness 102 - 27 Year old biracial male

"
According to Witness 102, he saw Brown standing on the driver’s side of the SUV, bent over with his body through the driver’s window from the waist up. Witness 102 explained that Brown was “wrestling” through the window, but he was unable to see what Wilson was doing. After a few seconds, Witness 102 heard a gunshot. Immediately, Brown took off running in the opposite direction from where Witness 102 was standing.

Brown did not get on the ground or put his hands up in surrender. In fact, Witness 102 told investigators that he knew “for sure that [Brown’s] hands were not above his head.” Rather,Brown made some type of movement similar to pulling his pants up or a shoulder shrug, and then “charged” at Wilson. It was only then that Wilson fired five or six shots at Brown. Brown paused and appeared to flinch, and Wilson stopped firing. However, Brown charged at Wilson again, and again Wilson fired about three or four rounds until Brown finally collapsed on the ground. Witness 102 was in disbelief that Wilson seemingly kept missing because Brown kept advancing forward."

Witness 103 - 58 Year old black male

"Then Witness 103 heard a gunshot and Brown took off running. Wilson exited the SUV, appeared to be using his shoulder microphone to call into his radio, and chased Brown with his gun held low.

Witness 103 explained that Brown came to a stop near a car, put his hand down on the car, and turned around to face Wilson. Brown’s hands were then down at his sides. Witness 103 did not see Brown’s hands up. Wanting to leave, Witness 103 began to turn his car around in the opposite direction that Brown had been running when he heard additional shots. Witness 103 turned to his right, and saw Brown “moving fast” toward Wilson."

Witness 104 - 26 year old biracial female

"Witness 104 knew that Brown’s arms were inside the SUV, but she could not see what Brown and Wilson were doing because Brown’s body was blocking her view. Witness 104 saw Brown run from the SUV, followed by Wilson, who “hopped” out of the SUV and ran after him while yelling “stop, stop, stop.” Wilson did not fire his gun as Brown ran from him. Brown then turned around and “for a second” began to raise his hands as though he may have considered surrendering, but then quickly “balled up in fists” in a running position and “charged” at Wilson"

Witness 105 - 50 year old black female

"Witness 105 explained that Brown put his hands up “for a brief moment,” and then turned around and made a shuffling movement. Wilson told Brown to “get down,” but Brown did not comply. Instead, Brown put his hands down “in a running position.” Witness 105 could not tell whether Brown was “charging” at Wilson or whether his plan was to run past Wilson, but either way, Brown was running toward Wilson. According to Witness 105, Wilson only shot at Brown when Brown was moving toward him."

Witness 108 - 74 year old black male

"During the investigators’ attempts to find Witness 108, another individual reported that two days after the shooting, Witness 108 confided in her that he “would have fucking shot that boy, too.” In saying so, Witness 108 mimicked an aggressive stance with his hands out in front of him, as though he was about to charge. SLCPD detectives finally tracked down Witness 108 at a local repair shop, where he reluctantly explained that Wilson told Brown to “stop” or “get down” at least ten times, but instead Brown “charged” at Wilson."

Witness 109 - 53 year old black male

"However, he was calling because Witness 101, whom he described as the “guy with the dreads,” lied on national television. Witness 109 described Brown and Witness 101 walking on the center line of the street when the officer asked them to get out of street. Brown responded something to the effect of, “Fuck the police.” According to Witness 109, Wilson got out of his vehicle and Brown, the “young guy that died,” hit him in the face. Witness 109 explained that Wilson reached for what appeared to be a taser but dropped it, and then grabbed a gun. Witness 109 explained that Brown reached for Wilson’s gun. Although Witness 109’s description was somewhat disjointed, he also stated that at first Brown ran away from Wilson, but then kept coming toward Wilson. Wilson told Brown to stop and lie down, but Brown failed to comply. Witness 109 said that Wilson fired in self-defense, explaining that Wilson did not shoot to kill at first, but “he unloaded on him when [Brown] wouldn’t stop.”

Witness 113 - 31 year old black female

"Witness 113 then admitted that she saw Brown running toward Wilson, prompting Wilson to yell, “Freeze.” Brown failed to stop and Wilson began shooting Brown. Witness 113 told the FBI that it appeared to her that Wilson’s life was in danger. She explained there was a pause in the shots before the firing resumed, but Witness 113 had ducked down for cover and did not see anything after the first volley of shots."

Witness 107 - 30 year old black female

"Brown then turned around and briefly put his hands with up, palms forward, near his shoulders, as though he was “giving up.” But then Brown put his hands down, one of them holding his chest, as he came back toward Wilson, though Witness 107 was unsure whether Brown was stumbling or running. Wilson fired the last shots from 10 to 15 feet away from Brown, and kept shooting as Brown was falling to the ground"

Witness 106 - 45 year old white male

"
Witness 106 explained that he first saw Brown as he ran from Wilson. Wilson fired one shot which seemed to hit Brown in the leg because Brown appeared to stagger. Brown’s arms then “briefly flung” out and he turned around to face Wilson. Witness 106 then explained that even though the neighborhood had been talking about Brown having his “hands up,” Brown “did not have his hands up.” Brown’s arms were down at his sides, such that Witness 106 could not even see Brown’s hands. Witness 106’s vantage point was over Wilson’s shoulder. Witness 106 saw Brown walk toward Wilson and thought that Brown was about to shoot Wilson, as Wilson shot Brown until he fell to his death. Wilson was about six to 10 feet from Brown when he fired the final shots at Brown.

Witness 106’s account is inconsistent with the physical and forensic evidence and other credible witness accounts. He has a conviction for sexual abuse that would likely be admissible in federal court as impeachment evidence"

Witness 110 - 51 year old black male

"When Brown reached a nearby driveway, he stopped and looked down at his hand, which Witness 111 noted had blood on it. Witness 110 believed that Brown looked at his left hand. Brown put his hands out at his sides, palms up, as though asking, “What the heck?” Brown then moved toward Wilson with his hands in that same position, and Wilson shot Brown. Brown then paused, the shooting stopped, and then Brown advanced again. Witness 110 stated that Wilson shot Brown only when Brown was moving toward him, and did not shoot at Brown as he ran away"

Witness 111 - 48 year old black female

"First, when she witnessed Brown turn around after fleeing from Wilson, Witness 111 explained that Brown looked down at his right hand, which was bleeding. This is contrary to Witness 110, who said that Brown looked down at his left hand and did not mention seeing blood. Second, Witness 111 described Brown as moving back toward Wilson in “slow motion,” where Witness 110 at one time described Brown walking “quickly,” but later could not characterize his pace. According to Witness 111, at no time were Brown’s hands up in surrender or otherwise."

dumb fucks like dejulez are the reason black communities are all fkd up .. twisted, warped view of reality .. no self responsibility for anything .. you're always a victim and that's that .. you idiots are defending the wrong people .. also, mike brown was a degenerate .. physically attacking people a 3rd his size .. he wasn't a 'nice kid'
It's largely why at this point in time, my general attitude is fuck 'em.
If they want to make martyrs out of lowlife criminals and refuse to accept an ounce of self responsibility (all the while blaming, demonizing and attacking the very people trying to keep their 'hoods safe), hey, so be it. Just don't expect me to play along with it and feel bad when nothing gets better.
Someone defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. Fuck that action.

SO THE RACE WARS BEGIN VVVVVVVVVVROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODingaling============>OOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!

Here's the Young Turk's "final judgement" on the case based on three different autopsies and the reports from the police and the investigators hired by Brown's family. Keep in mind that the Young Turks are extremely biased in favor of Michael Brown. The reason I'm using them is because despite desperately wanting the "Hands up, don't shoot" narrative to be true, they begrudgingly have to admit that the evidence almost entirely supports Wilson's account.

Here's the "conclusions" at the end:
- Definitely a scuffle over the gun in the car
- Michael Brown definitely ran away
- Michael Brown definitely started coming back toward Wilson
- It is unclear whether Wilson shot Brown while he was running away
- Michael Brown might have had his hands up at one point, but he was not surrendering

Basically, all the physical evidence supports Wilson's account. The only physical evidence that has any ambiguity to it is the bullet holes in the arms because of the mobility of the arms. There were a lot of non-credible witnesses who straight up lied and made things up. Many of the credible witnesses were afraid to be publicly identified because most of them agreed that it was a justified shooting and didn't want to face the backlash from the community. NOTE: Most of these witnesses were black. When only the credible witnesses are taken into consideration, most of them essentially support Wilson's accounts exactly as claimed.

Thanks!! This really sums things up well.

Though there's something kind of weird in the question of "did Wilson shoot him from behind?" The video sums it up as unclear, but it actually is clear. Since the bullet entered from the back of his arm, the only possibilities are that Brown was either shot from behind or shot from the front with his hands up. They kind of gloss over this, but but seems like a big deal to me. If he was shot from behind, there's an obvious problem, but if he was shot from the front, that's even more interesting because it would imply that he was shot after he turned around, but before he started charging the officer, which really reframes the whole situation.

I can see why this is so contentious. The act of charging Darren Wilson is super irrational, and I think that's where the divide is. If you believe that Mike Brown was a piece of shit thief and drug dealer, I guess the explanation is just that Brown was an idiot and a thug and decided to charge the cop. Possible, but I've known many pieces of shit in life and I don't think I've ever met one who would charge an officer from 180 feet away. In all the officer involved shooting bideos that are out there, I've literally never once seen that happen.

On the other hand, if you believe that there are a lot of power hungry piece of shit cops who basically prowl around neighborhoods looking for someone to kill, the facts have a different meaning. For example, why did Wilson pull up right next Brown in the first place? He pulled up so close to him that Brown was able to push the door closed as Wilson was trying to get out. From that perspective, you have a narrative that Wilson was basically planning to harass and intimidate Brown. When Brown fought back, Wilson shot him in the hand, then either shot him again whule Brown was running away or after Brown stopped and turned. Then either Brown is stumbling toward Wilson or is charging him because he seems to think that's the only way to stop this insane officer.

I can't say that either narrative is better than the other. Though I have seen videos of cops pretty much just executing people (like that poor kid in the hotel), the witness testimony makes me disinclined to believe that Wilson was out on a hunt. However, it seems to me, there is no logically reason why Wilson behaved the way he did and no logical reason why Brown behaved the way he did unless one of the other was really behaving unpredictably. I think who people side with is largely representative of their life experiences with police and young black men.

Notice that in the DOJ report (The DOJ ran by Eric Holder working under the Obama administration) under:
"Witnesses Consistent with Prior Statements, Physical Evidence, and Other Witnesses Who Inculpate Wilson"
There is nobody. There is not a single credible witness whose testimony incriminates officer Wilson.

Keep in mind that many of the witnesses would have loved the narrative to be true. Many of them were so afraid to admit to what they had seen because it was inconsistent with the narrative in the media and in the community. One of the witnesses said he'd rather go to jail than testify as to what he saw in court because what he saw was in favor of officer Wilson. Many of the other witnesses wanted to remain anonymous because they were scared from backlash from the community. Some hid from police. These people were under extreme pressure to follow the narrative, but still gave honest testimonies that support Wilson's account.

All those eyewitnesses aren't even consistent with what they saw.
And we know that Wilson didn't yell freeze because we have the audio.
But as people say about eye witnesses, they arent reliable. Which I don't think is necessarily true
But what we see here is someone who got shot and did sometype of motion with his hands, which could be anything since he got shot in them.

Extreme pressure from the community or from the police?
Who has a history of intimidation and corruption?
Why no mention of the witnesses who lied to support Wilsons side?
That never gets mentioned.

Why no mention of the white guys on tape with there hands up yelling at the cop for shooting the kid running?
That was filmed right after the shooting. Within a minute or two.

Sure. She's shown negative leadership skills. As in, -5☆'s out of ten. If my son had tried to kill a cop I wouldn't run for office.

At least not on anything but a funding-for-mental-health-care/ focus on "Obama style community service as a civic duty" platform.
Yeah, but on the other hand, she'll fit right in with the rest of the incompetent, useless "leaders" running the show there.
You could even say she is eminently qualified.

Yeah. But that means nothing.

This is what someone says who has no bias on the subject.
The reason by the way that Wilson pulled over was because they were in the street and yelled back at him.
He had no idea that they were the robbery suspects.
Later down the road the police tried to say "No actually he knew it was them after they yelled at him"
No he fuckin didn't.

What you had here was two people who escalated the situation and it led to Browns death.

I have even said that I don't think Wilson should even have any charges except maybe manslaughter.
I dont think he did it in cold blood, I think he was a cop, and like a lot of cops, if they back down they think they lost.

But I don't stand by the narrative that Brown was out to kill a cop that day, and ran 180 ft away to only turn around and run back at him.

People will go "Black people act like this" but then cite black people as credible witnesses.
So blacks are only good when they fit there narrative.

Actually there are some things that essentially all, if not all, of the credible witnesses said:

1. Michael Brown was leaning into the car when he first got shot
2. Michael Brown ran away. No credible witness said he was shot from behind. Most witnesses explicitly said he was not.
3. He turned and made some sort of motion with his hand.
4. He began heading towards Wilson again. Most people said in a charging or running motion. A minority said walking or stumbling, but like I said these people either only saw a part of it or had their view partially obstructed.
5. Wilson ordered him to stop, he did not.
5. Wilson shot at him numerous times when he was heading towards him. There was a brief pause, but then Brown charged him again and he was shot again.

These are all supported by the forensics which are listed below:

1. Gunpowder on Michael Brown showing a close range shot (consistent with being in the car).
2. Officer Wilson has a swollen face, consistent with being punched by a very large man.
3.. He ran away, this is shown by blood stains.
4. He ran back, again, consistent with the blood spatter.
5. The audio recording has a pause between the gunshots, consistent with a brief pause before Brown began charging again.
6. The bullets are consistent with being shot from the front, except for two in his arms which are ambiguous due to arm mobility.

And we know that Wilson didn't yell freeze because we have the audio.

The audio does not disprove that Wilson told him to freeze. The audio recording is only 13 seconds out of the entire encounter. Furthermore, it was taken from a cellphone by a person inside an apartment that was some distance away from the event. We can hear the gunshots because they're so loud, but given the distance, the fact that it was a low quality recording device, the fact that it was recorded from inside an apartment, and that much of the audio was drowned out by gunshots or the person who recorded its own voice, it is perfectly reasonable that we can't hear the voices of officer Wilson.

I'm quoting the witnesses who are assessed to be consistent and credible by Eric Holder's DOJ. I'm not sure what value quoting randoms with no credibility would have.

Numerous witnesses stated explicitly that they were scared of backlash from their community.

"Witness 113 is a 31-year-old black female. She was interviewed one time by FBI agents during their canvass on August 16, 2014, and gave an account that generally corroborated Wilson, but only after she was confronted with untruthful statements she initially made in an effort to avoid neighborhood backlash."

"However, Witness 108 refused to provide additional details to either county or federal authorities, citing community sentiment to support a “hands up” surrender narrative as his reason to remain silent. He explained that he would rather go to jail than testify before the county grand jury."

There are more in the report too. It's also mentioned in the Young Turk video.

Is it?
It seems that people are find with saying Brown tried to kill the officer, like thats just what fat kids do in sandals.

I don't think Wilson killed him in cold blood.
I think a situation got out of hand. Thats all

Well there is no doubt that things got out of hand. But I think that Michael Brown was the one driving things. I'm not happy that he's dead. But he didn't have to commit a strong arm robbery. He didn't have to be walking in the middle of the street. He didn't have to fight with the cop. He didn't have to charge the cop after tearing away and getting distance between them. All he had to do was stop.

The description posted illustrates the decisive nature of CNN. Disgusting.
