Disagree that a person's character is disconnected from their ability to lead. Your example regarding Clinton is clear evidence as he was impeached for it. Regarding trump it was a little more than just an extramarital affair. You have to really downplay it to frame it otherwise.

The point is many Dems, media personalities etc that were around in the late 90s made a big stink about Clinton and Lewinsky and how it shouldn’t matter, but when it’s Trump they’re moralistic and he’s the devil.

the focus of 99% of the media coverage for clinton was Lewinsky (conveniently ignoring perjury) and most of the media coverage for Trump was him and Stormy (ignoring all other factors and actual scandal) its the pendulum swinging both ways and is a tiresome and stupid game coming from either side and EVERYONE should be able to see it.
