As to those that are against Trump's border policies are you equally against President Obrador creation of a Mexican ICE? I think Mexico has a right to defend its borders and I am glad the President elect is already taking proactive steps to stopping the flood of illegal immigration into Mexico.

Mexican president-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador plans to establish a distinct border-police force to combat illegal immigration as well as drug and weapon smuggling from Central America, his future chief of public security Alfonso Durazo told Bloomberg in an interview published Monday.

“We’re going to create a border police force that will be highly specialized,” said Durazo in the interview. “They need to apply the law.”

The newfound emphasis on curtailing illegal immigration comes amid President Trump’s now years-long public pressure campaign on Mexican officials to assume some degree of responsibility for stemming the tide of Central American immigrants passing through Mexico on their way to the U.S. in recent years.

Does AMLO's proposal include constructing a needless wall that will cost >$30 billion with additional upkeep costs?
Is his proposal for the purpose of limiting immigration across a border that already has negative net migration and has had negative migration for a decade?
Are these policies not similar to, albeit most likely far less robust, than the same ones the United States has had since 2009?

Your claims of hypocrisy presume that all critics of Trump oppose all border presence, when in fact they oppose certain needless, wasteful, and inhumane border practices.

Mexicans tend to look like the rest of central america and even some colombians. And cubans and non caribbean blacks.

Mexico has good relations with those countries. It isnt hateful. I dont think it is about of ethnic or racial views. Honestly, I wish US border patrol could just immediately send anyone caught crossing illegally straight back to Mexico. Asylum seekers entering at an official port of entry being the only ones allowed through.
