Is it illegal to have metal plates from surgery in your arm? Like plates in your fist or your elbow? How would this effect your striking?

You would have to avoid striking with the plate because it hurts. I have a plate on my ankle and if something hits it it hurts inside the bone and the flesh covering the plate also hurts because it gets crushed agaisnt metal.
